The Latin American Pesticide Residue Workshop (LAPRW) is an open forum for discussion about present concepts and developments in the field of pesticide residues in food and environmental samples. The first workshop has been held in Santa Maria, Brazil (2007). The relevance of the themes of this event for Latin America has lead to a bi-annual organization. The objective of the workshop is to exchange information, experiences and strategies bringing together analysts, pesticide regulators, and other scientists from food and environment control agencies, research institutes, universities, private laboratories, quality managers, regulatory bodies, the food and drink industry, the agrochemical industry and representatives of analytical equipment, manufacturers and suppliers. |
